Fix a rejected entry
A reviewer may reject your entry instead of approving it — for example if the project is wrong, the duration looks off, or the description is too thin.
What happens on rejection
- The entry's status becomes rejected and it reappears on
My time with a warning-coloured
rejectedlabel. - It is editable and resubmittable again.
- The reviewer's reason is stored against the action and is visible in the audit trail.
Fix and resubmit
- Open My time; rejected entries sort at the top with your other recent entries.
- Click Edit on the rejected row.
- Correct the problem — usually the project, date, duration, or description.
- Click Save changes, then Submit.
The entry re-enters the Review queue as submitted.
Writing descriptions reviewers approve
Name the deliverable and the outcome: "Rotate prod DB credentials and verify failover" beats "DB work".
Can't find the reason?
The rejection reason lives in the audit trail. Ask a reviewer or admin to look it up under Administration → Audit trail, filtering for your entry. The entry id prefix is enough to trace it.
If the entry should be gone instead
A rejected entry can be deleted rather than fixed. See Edit, submit, and delete.
